We convert your plastic payment card into a luxurious metal card!

• Is it working? The short answer is NO.
• Your new card will be made entirely from Metal, and even if the Tap to Pay coil is embedded into your EMV chip, it’s hard for the signal to pass-through the metal in order to make the transaction.
• You will get however way more compliments of your metal card, how heavy it is when you hand it over to your bartender 😉.
• You can of course still use the Tap to Pay (NFC) function on your mobile device (if your bank supports mobile payments).

When you decide to order your new metal card through our online card builder you will need to select what is the chip size of your current plastic card which you are planning to convert into a metal one.

It is very important to pick the correct size when ordering.

Please make sure to double check the size of your plastic card chip, before continuing to the next steps since it can be that we don’t have in stock the desired color your want for the chip size of your card.

Our card builder is 99% always up to date with our stock check.

If we don’t have the selected chip size metal card color in stock you can select a different color instead, or wait until we restock!

If you don’t pay attention to the chip size, and we receive a different plastic chip card (the one which you are sending it to us to be converted) regarding of your card order, we will contact you as soon as possible so we can find the best solution for you.

It’s going to cost you a few extra bucks.

You have an option to engrave your personal signature on the back side of your metal card.

If you opted-in for that upon placing and reviewing your order, you will receive an email from us where you will place your signature electronically.

You can do that from the comfort of your smartphone/tablet/computer.

• We don’t store any personal payment data from our clients.
• We will never ask for your card PIN.
• Feel free to temporary freeze your card in your online banking before sending it to us.

• Once we receive your card we begin the production of your new card.
• It’s ready for postage in 1-2 business days
• You will get inside our package your old and new card.
• We advise you to send your plastic to us using DHL Express.
• You can always track the status of your order in your account.
• You will also get SMS push notifications.
• If we have any issues we will contact your as soon as possible.
• If you have any issues please contact us as soon as possible.

• Please make sure that your card is not expiring soon. Let’s say that if it’s expiring in let’s say 6 months, in our opinion and logic it’s better to go and visit your bank to get a new fresh one which is valid for 2+ years.
• You can however always purchase our insurance while you are making your card in our builder online, which offers you 2 years 1 hassle free replacement of your metal card.

  This applies to:

  • Lost card
  • Stolen card
  • Damaged card
  • Bank re-issued card
  • Expired card (if your card expires in the 2 years period)

• Always send us a new plastic card!
• We do not offer chip replacement of your Metal card – only plastic!
• Your new plastic card must match the original card holder name and bank.

We guarantee 100% EMV chip extraction from your old plastic card using our own discreet method.

• Please contact your bank immediately!
• You must treat your metal card the same as any payment card which is owned by the bank!
• If you have purchased our insurance for your metal card, please have a look and read more above regarding the insurance.

All sales are final and no refund will be issued.

• Lamoq is not a bank or credit card company.

• We only upgrade your plastic payment cards by engraving the desired design onto your metal color of choice!
• Your metal card will be valid the same as your plastic card which you are sending it to us to convert into metal.

Your new metal card will not include any written information which is printed on your plastic, such as your bank name and logos of the card network providers.

• You can pay with cash upon delivery to the courier (available only in Montenegro).
• You can pay for your order with us using your credit/debit card online – through the PayPal or PayDo’s payment gateway provider.
  • The card must be Visa Secure/MasterCard 3DS enabled.
• PayPal
• You can pay with Cryptocurrency.

*Payments made through our PayDo card provider may require you to verify your identity online which takes only a few minutes.

All of your personal data such as first/last name and your card numbers will be engraved on the backside of your metal card.

If you want to hide some data and get a custom engraved back design, please get in touch with us so we can work on your custom design!

Once you receive your new metal card from us, you will also get your plastic which you sent to us for converting it into a metal.

Some other companies which are doing similar services as we do, don’t really care about details, and how to achieve the best solution of removing the EMV chip from the plastic without distorting/bending/burning your card.

Other competitors return the plastic card to their clients distorted/bended/burned out, which in our opinion is not that satisfying from the client endpoint.

You can still keep your old plastic card in your drawer.

Once you are done with the card builder, on the checkout page you will have the ability to choose between 3 options for sending your finished metal card to your address.

1. Courier Delivery – Free shipping and ability to pay in cash upon delivering your card to the courier (available only in Montenegro 🇲🇪).
2. Regular Post (5-15 Delivery Days) – Free shipping. You will get a tracking code once we ship your order.
3. DHL Express – price is automatically calculated upon entering your correct delivery address. You will get a tracking code once we ship your order.
